Hyderabad: Prof. Syed Ainul Hasan, Vice-Chancellor of Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU), inaugurated a three-day National Workshop on Capacity Building for Working Urdu Journalists. The programme aims to provide journalists with advanced skills, professional insights, and resources to address the evolving challenges of media in the digital age while ensuring accuracy and credibility.

Amer Ali Khan of The Siasat Daily joined senior journalists and media professionals in the session, contributing to discussions on the importance of ethical reporting and the preservation of Urdu journalism’s cultural significance. He emphasized that “Urdu journalism must adapt to modern challenges while staying rooted in its values of truth and responsibility.” The workshop underscored the role of responsible media in shaping public opinion and the need for continuous learning to strengthen the voice of Urdu press in contemporary society.
